On June 16, 1971 Tupac Shakur was born. His career and his life were cut short upon his murder in 1996. Regardless, Pac remains an inspiration for many rappers today beit his friends Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, Nas, Kendrick Lamar, or J. Cole. His influence is even felt in contemporary rap, and honored today by Joey Bada$$. While in California for his Santa Cruz show, the Brooklyn rapper visited Power 106's The Cruz Show to deliver several freestyles over Tupac's classics like "Hail Mary", "I Get Around", and "Gangsta Party" for the legend's would be 44th Birthday. Note Number 3: Drake featuring Beyoncé & Sal Houdini - Can I

The world goes crazy when Drake drops a new song. Everything shuts down when its Drake AND Beyoncé. Between 10 and 11pm, May 20th, a SoundCloud account called "OVO Unruly" released Drizzy's new song "Can I", which features Queen Bey and an artist named Sal Houdini. Shortly after Houdini posted a screenshot on Instagram with a caption basically stating he released the song on accident. Nobody can find the SoundCloud link and it was nixed from the blogoshpere. Unfortunately, in this day and age once a leaked song hits the Internet it is there forever (especially when a snippet released earlier this week). Regardless, "Can I" could be featured on Drake's upcoming Views From the 6 album or another project, for now just enjoy it.

I have a challenge finding jeans for the warm months. I struggle with my desired color, "do I go with white, indigo, or light wash," the fit, and the stress level. Spring and Summer come with a relaxed air, casual breeze, and fun, themes my clothing certainly aims to match. I trusted J.Crew's denim selection would include something to my liking, added with the brand's sophisticated-casual style. My sized 30/34 484 Kaihara Denim In Faded Light Wash jeans are the winners.
